Samantha is a registered social worker with more than 10 years experience in individual, family, group counselling and play therapy for children, youth, and adults. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Social Work from Memorial University.

Samantha practices from a person-centered perspective and utilizes solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, and sand-tray therapy. She has training in brief, focused counselling and believes in a strengths-based approach to underpin her therapeutic modalities.

Samantha has also developed and facilitated psychoeducational groups as well as mutual-aid support groups.
