Hillary is a registered social worker with over five years’ experience of working in the field of mental health and addictions counselling. She provides counselling services to individuals, couples, and families who have navigated various challenges such as experiencing addiction, anxiety, depression, stress management, emotion regulation, life transitions, burnout, relationship issues, boundaries, communication, and interpersonal conflicts. Hillary’s framework is rooted in a Client-Centered Approach, with a belief that the therapeutic relationship is a collaborative process, tailoring treatment modalities to meet an individual’s unique needs and goals. In sessions Hillary utilizes components from Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Structured Relapse Prevention, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Attachment Theory, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Gottman Method. Hillary strives to create a therapeutic atmosphere that is warm, non-judgmental, and comfortable to support people in their wellness journey.
