Wendy has over 20 years experience helping children, adolescents and families navigate and meet with success in the school system. She has extensive experience with: relationship building, assisting families and schools in working together to meet the diverse needs of children and helping children/youth to become confident, independent, resilient, mindful and empathetic.
Wendy has completed training in childhood trauma and also has experience with addictions in youth and adults. Wendy has a special interest in advocating for and helping adults navigate the many changes, challenges and stages that life presents.
She chooses the therapy model that best fits her clients’ needs and draws on tools from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered, Mindfulness, and Solution Focused methodologies.
