Jenna’s focus is on assisting children and youth, ages 6-18, thrive in their environments. She believes that all children want to succeed and she has a passion for helping parents, youth and children learn the necessary skills. She also enjoys working with families and individuals in the areas of depression, anxiety, anger, parenting, stress management, trauma, and self-esteem.
Jenna has considerable experience conducting risk assessments and working with individuals experiencing suicidal ideations. She has run psycho-educational groups for parents on topics such as Collaborative and Proactive Solutions and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and group therapy for youth displaying abusive behaviors towards their parents, and those experiencing anxiety. Jenna generally works from a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy approach, but also has training and experience in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
Jenna remains client-centered and adapts from other treatment modalities when necessary.
